The Apostolic Christian College (ACC) is an academic institution of higher learning offering traditional resident programs and a non-traditional educational delivery system. This methodology allows for the provision of multi-track training for 21st century Christian service that is committed to the time honored traditions of Biblical orthodoxy, yet ďtuned to the timesĒ in order to make relevant application of these eternal principles. Apostolic Christian Collegeis an affiliated member of the ACC Educators Network.
The Apostolic Christian College's concept of distance education was once considered impractical, but it has now been adopted by leading institutions of higher education as a standard for training in the field of higher education, not only for ministry preparation, but also for other disciplines as well. In many seminary settings, excessive time is inherent in the delivery process of educating the students and much emphasis is placed on repeating information that is common knowledge to most. Todayís learners need the challenge of leading-edge material in the context of a challenging environment to make the material work in the local church and the marketplace.
The leadership, faculty and staff of the Apostolic Christian College are not disconnected from the pulpit or local church pressures of this modern world. The faculty is involved in local church ministry through special seminars, church consultation, researching of new trends, and with a personal commitment to a local church when not out on the field.
In short, Apostolic Christian College provides a unique opportunity for students to prepare themselves academically, professionally, and spiritually to serve God in the ministry & professions to which they have been called. As an independent, educational ministry which is thoroughly Biblical in its philosophy of education, Apostolic Christian College is a servant to both the local church and the individual student; providing curriculum, consultation, and direction for their educational goal accomplishments.
Apostolic Christian College recognizes the authority and autonomy of the local church and therefore, will not interfere with the local churchís life, its discipline, or its doctrinal emphasis.
Because we recognize that a sound Christian education is an important part of life, the programs of Apostolic Christian College are varied and always growing. We currently offer a Diploma in Biblical Studies and in the collegiate program we offer Associate, Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral degrees in Biblical Studies, Applied Theology, Christian Education, Leadership and Organization. As a whole, the Apostolic Christian College experience involves a rich combination of academics, community, and sharing a commitment to one another and the Kingdom of God.
We affirm the Divine inspiration, truthfulness, and authority of both the Old and New Testament Scriptures, in their entirety, as the only written Word of God, without error in all that it affirms, and the only infallible rule of life, faith, and practice.
We also affirm the power of Godís Word to accomplish His purpose of salvation. The message of the Bible is addressed to all mankind, for Godís revelation in Christ and in Scripture is unchangeable. Through it, the Holy Spirit still speaks today. He illuminates the minds of Godís people in every culture to preserve its truth freshly through their own eyes.
Jesus Christ is the image of the invisible God, which is to say, He is Himself very God. He took upon Himself our nature, being conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice for the sins of the world. He arose from the dead in the body in which He was crucified.
He ascended into heaven in that body glorified, where He is now, our interceding High Priest.
The mission of the Apostolic Christian College is to empower this generation, through equipping them with Godís Word, to prepare them for their destiny in fulfilling the Great Commission, Mt. 28:18-20.
